Do you have joint or back pain?

Platelet-Rich Prolotherapy (PRP) Prolozone Be Pain – Free and Heal!

What is Platelet-Rich Prolotherapy (PRP) Prolozone?

It is an autologous (using your own blood products) and ozone (medical grade oxygen converted to 03). This therapy does not require an extensive pre-procedure preparation.

What is Involved?

An initial office visit is completed with the physician to obtain pertinent information about your medical history, a physical examination, and a nutrition consult. You are then informed about the specific benefits, risks, and anticipated outcomes of PRP Prolozone therapy as it pertains to you. The injection itself takes 1 hour.

Tell Me More

PRP Prolozone Therapy is an injection that is administered to relieve pain in the joints and soft tissues (trigger points).

Most patients receive significant pain relief after the first injection; however, some patients require more than one injection in the same joint or tissue site on average one per week for a total of 3 in a 6-month period.

The risks involved with this procedure include bleeding, infection, and swelling.

The risks are less than 1%.

The injection is usually minimally uncomfortable. You may continue with your normal activities immediately after the treatment.

What is Prolozone?

Prolozone is the same as Prolotherapy, but now combined with ozone to help the cells and tissues repair themselves. Ozone is supercharged oxygen (O3 versus O2). Injury results in the loss of oxygen to the tissue. The first step in the loss of oxygen is the development of inflammation. Inflammation sustained over a substantial period of time results in disease, and eventually death, if not corrected. We use an in-office ozone generator to produce the super-charged oxygen and inject it into the affected area along with the prolotherapy.

Why Do I Need a Nutrition Consult?

After having over 20 years of clinical experience with musculoskeletal diseases the root cause or pre-disposing factor to these is diseases is improper nutrition. This ranges from poor food choices to inadequate intake of specific nutrients to support the body in its continuous self-detoxification, repair, rejuvenation processes. The plain use of supplements is insufficient and at times is counterproductive to the body’s inherent ability to heal itself.
